Leadership in Social Enterprise (60 credit) course
Cosmic's Pioneer Programme is designed to enable leaders of all levels to develop their confidence, competence and commitment in order to inspire their organisations and their people with passion and a sense of shared purpose.
The course offers a new and innovative way for leaders in social enterprises to develop, giving leaders at all levels an opportunity to realise their full potential and access the most appropriate support available both through the project and through other sources.
Participation in this course will arm leaders of Social Enterprises, with the tools and advice they need to drive their enterprises forward in a planned and strategic manner,addressing the weaknesses that have prevented their effective operation in the past, whilst leaders of new and emerging Social Enterprises will be provided with the knowledge and support they need to be successful social enterprises delivering a triple bottom line.
Leadership in Social Enterprise programme includes the following modules
- Performace improvement - including social impact and triple bottom line
- Leadership styles - including understanding leadership and leadership self-analysis
- Strategic planning and management - including working with your board and governance
- Strategic marketing - including trends analysis and effective networking
- Developing leadership - including communications, developing partnerships and collaboration
This programme is a unique opportunity to build on and develop your Leadership Skills. You will be able to:
- Develop your competence at Management & Leadership Level 5 (equivalent to undergraduate year 2).
- Deliver quantifiable improvements for your organisation through Strategic Workplace Improvement Projects
- Evaluate your ongoing professional development needs and take ownership for self development.
- Take responsibility for managing yourself and your team to meet the challenges of the workplace.
Leadership in Social Enterprise is the only nationally HE accredited course. The course offers 60 credits at level 5 and is accredited by the University of
Plymouth.
