Help Influence the Development of Lively Leadership
As you may know, the Lively Leadership project is about
•Ensuring leadership development in social enterprises in South West
•Encouraging passion, purpose and pride
•Providing additional support and development
•Establishing a network of support around leadership and leaders in the region
The team at COSMIC want to source the best possible support for all our Members so that we can provide you with:
•Blended support to help you develop your confidence, competence and commitment as a leader in a Social Enterprise
•Leadership Mentoring focused on your leadership development needs
•Workshops and Action learning sets
•Master-classes
•Online support and tools
In order for us to achieve this we need your help. In the resources area of this website there is a Training Needs Analysis based on the National Occupational Standards for Management and Leadership.
The standards are deigned to act as a benchmark of best practice. They define the 6 core Functions of Managers/Leaders and are broken down into 47 Units of Competence.
Each unit is mapped to identified levels of management
Team leader (9 units apply to this level)
First line manager (16 apply to this level)
Middle manager (23 apply to this level)
Senior manager (26 apply to this level)
Please take a few minutes now to work through the analysis and email it back to sarah@cosmic.org.uk. We will then be able to design the forward programme of events and ensure that the support and tools on the website address your needs and those of the majority of our Members.
Thank you for your support and cooperation.
