Welcome to the UK’s first nationally accredited course on Leadership in Social Enterprise: Cosmic’s Pioneer Programme
“The current financial crisis makes it very clear that the system we have is not really working. This is the right time to undo things and build them in a new way.”
Professor Muhammad Yunus, Founder Grameen Bank
Cosmic has been at the forefront of Social Enterprise since we started in 1996 – it is built into the fabric our values, of how we do business and what we give back to our community. We are proud to be one of the first businesses to carry ‘The Social Enterprise Mark’ which recognises businesses which trade for people and the planet.
Much of Cosmic’s success has been down to our championing of leadership, of understanding the vital importance of dynamic, consistent and inspirational leadership skills particularly when it comes to businesses which have intertwined their commercial and social goals.
Which is why we are delighted to be the first social enterprise to be accredited by a University to offer module based course focusing on leadership skills for social entrepreneurs. Our course, the ‘Pioneer Programme ’, will give leaders the tools and advice they need to drive their enterprises forward in a planed, inspiring and strategic way.
“Our Pioneer Programme is an innovative, dedicated programme for leaders in social enterprise. It gives an immersive experience that will challenge provoke and expose participants to a wide range of leadership insights.”
Julie Harris, Lead Tutor and CEO of Cosmic.
